Installation

Determine where you would like to mount the hanger. If you are mounting to a wall stud, use the provided mounting screws to secure the backing plate to the wall utilizing the center mounting holes. Be sure to orient with the three holes and retention screw tab at the top. We suggest using a small level to ensure the mounting plate is straight. Slide the hanger (yoke) through the faceplate hole and fit over the mounting plate cleat. Position the faceplate back to align with the mounting plate, and secure with the provided faceplate screw.

If you are mounting into drywall, use provided screws to make pilot holes using the center holes, as they are required for installing drywall anchors. For additional security, we have an option to utilize the top outer mounting holes and bottom for increased stability. To install drywall anchors, align with pilot holes and using a Phillips screwdriver turn clockwise until they are flush with the wall. You can now secure the mounting plate with provided screws and complete assembly noted above. If you damage the drywall anchors, please contact us for replacements as they should never be reused.

While our product is tested far beyond the standard weight of instruments, we suggest a weight limit no greater than 17lbs.
